WATCH: Loyalty Girls – Queens Stand Up

For our first Youth Mentoring program of 2021 we teamed up with Mangere Central School once again. Rauinie, Rāhera, Elasha and Sarah stepped up and formed the “Loyalty Girls” for 5 weeks to write, produce and record an original song.
The Loyalty girls raising up some important kōrero about how we treat each other at school. for their song “Stand Up Queen”. The girls track carries the message to always hold your crown high no matter what life throws at you. With the help from mentor Bex Nabouta professional known as Sassy, who laid some amazing backing vocals, giving the rangatahi plenty to aspire to.
