Released on March 1st, 2018, Foreign Legacy is Unchained XL’s debut five track EP. Sonically, the five tracks blend traditional, Fela-Kuti inspired afrobeat textures and rhythms with various styles of hiphop, utilising a combination of live instruments and synths. The EP is lyrically defined by overarching themes of identity, race, virtue and cultural innovation.
But Do They Know features guests vocals by JessB and Nuel Nonso, with Unchained XL taking care of recording, production, songwriting and mixing.
