While spending 10 years in the UK, Tali cemented herself as one of the most prolific female MC/Freestylers to emerge from the electronic dance music scene and worked with some of the genre’s biggest names. Tali signed to legendary Roni Size’s ‘Full Cycle’ Imprint in 2004 and released the first ever MC-driven album in Drum n Bass – her impressive debut album LYRIC ON MY LIP (featuring the UK hit single ‘Lyric On My Lip’).

Since then she has won numerous awards, had a UK top 40 hit, released another three albums (DO IT FOR YOURSELF; DARK DAYS, HIGH NIGHTS; OF THINGS TO COME), seven SoulSide Sessions (a free Drum n Bass mix she curates and hosts alongside DJ Emma G), countless singles – one of which was picked up by BBC1 xtra; and has toured the world extensively as both an MC and with a live band.

In 2011 Tali returned to NZ and set about re-established her profile on home soil. On April 17th, Tali released her latest album WOLVES.

WOLVES, an album full of “Electronic Soul, and Gangsta Jazz” was produced, written and performed independently and combines songs of personal reflection and fierce story telling. Inspired by the raw vibes and rough beats of 90s Hip Hop and the dreamy layering of contemporary Electronic music, Tali has created an album that in her own words, “Reflects my personality and outlook on life – At times moody, dark and intense, but interspersed with glimmers of hope, love and strength“.
