Fans of Silva MC have been waiting for this for debut EP for a long time now. Her talented and unique style is inspired by her father’s Jamaican roots and her love for hip hop beats and soul sounding grooves. Live-on-stage she is untouchable, and Silva has worked alongside the The Krates (Che Fu), Dam Native, Ladi6, Cornerstone Roots, Iron Will & The Iron Hammers, Dj Heart Offishal, Jah Red Lion and more recently Maya & Vanya.
Recorded in Auckland city, Silva’s debut four track EP includes a catchy hip hop production from DJ PARKS (Ladi6 n Parks), and 3 bass heavy reggae tunes from top international reggae producers Dub Inc (France), DJ Karim (Jamaica) and Kibir Amlak (Chile).
The EP is a showcase of Silva’s unique rawness and versatility.
