Fresh for 2014 is the first collaboration between Wellington beat maker Jay Knight and Auckland MC Piatoa (SuperVillains).
Over the last 18 months Jay Knight has really made a name for himself with his production talent. A part of the Young Gifted and Broke collective and extremely prolific with his soundcloud uploads, Jay Knight productions appear alongside Raiza Biza, @peace, Diaz Grimm, Louie Knuxx, Ethical, INF, Winston Anthony and Times X Two.
Feeling the need to express something different outside of the SuperVillains group, Piatoa’s passionate delivery is a welcome change of direction for this MC, while vocalist Bailey Wiley provides an infectious vocal hook that gets stuck in your head for days afterwords. Wicked stuff from all involved!!
