PHARAOH SWAMI ‘Yene Nefsie (Juice Edit)’

Written by on April 3, 2019

Local Eyes this week is an edit and rendition of the YCee and Maleek Berry 2017 hit ‘Juice’, by Ethiopian born/Auckland based artist Pharaoh Swami titled ‘Yene Nefsie’.

Drawing inspiration from the original African artists, Pharoah has created his version of the track which is about celebrating love and happiness. ‘Yene Nefsie’ translates to My Soul in the main Ethiopian dialect Amharic.

“This song revolutionised my taste, style and respect for music and even more so my African brothers who are the top of the league in Africa. I look forward to starting off my releases and thank you for allowing me to re-introduce myself.”

We’re looking forward to more releases from Pharaoh, hit the links below to find out more.
