This week’s Turn It Up local tune of the week comes from a young producer who’s been monopolising a whole lot of our attention in the past year. To call Montell2099 up and coming doesn’t feel right as he’s so ahead of his game. There are even reddit threads made by fans dedicated to dissecting his beats.
Full of lush vibes and smoothly chopped up vocals (Aaliyah? We’re still trying to figure it out), ‘Possible’ is more chill than a lot of Montell’s big bangers and yet the urge to get up and dance when that bass drops is still undeniable.
