MERCY ‘For You’

Over the last couple of years Auckland producer Mercy (Josh Ruhen) has built a steady following of fans worldwide. His growing catalogue of release show a producer who has matured from his early drum & bass roots, and embraced a deeper, more spacious sound.

Mercy is obviously at home in the studio. His production is tight with crisp high frequencies and clean low end, but it’s the inclusion of different vocal samples, chord movements and musicality which really sets Mercy apart from masses of bedroom ‘bass music’ producers.

Mercy has releases on Deep Heads UK, Smokin Session, Substruct, Chord Marauders and Samurai Music, and has offered up this weeks tune of the week ‘For You’ as a free download to celebrate hitting 3K followers on soundcloud.
