Nau mai e te hunga nui! Join us as we celebrate the skills & innovation of Māori artists, musicians, performers and poets as they activate the Museum collections. Leading Maori artists will have their works for sale and there will be live music, spoken word poetry, live carving with Blaine Te Rito, a taonga pūoro workshop with James Webster and storytelling for the kids with Pita Turei and Kotuku Tibble… and a real hangi, from the ground!
