LatinAotearoa is DJ Bobby Brazuka, Venezulean songstress Jennifer Zea and multi-talented musician and producer Isaac Aesili. LatinAotearoa’s first single ‘Something About You’ has elements of Caribbean Dancehall mixed with Pacific Flavours. Similar to a Mojito, Jennifer Zea’s vocals and Isaac Aesili’s beats blend tastily with special guests Anna Coddington on the chorus and Tom Scott (Home Brew/@Peace) on the verse. As a bonus, there’s also another version featuring Chilean dancehall/reggae vocalist Jah Red Lion which will appear on the album.
The debut album Sonido will be released on May 3rd via Rhythmethod are then they’ll be taking their unique live performance on the road. This May will see them play 7-dates throughout New Zealand and Australia. The trio is excited to perform live after a series of successful shows in Australia and Europe in 2012.
