This week’s Local Eyes is from Juwan, one of Oceania’s most exciting young hip hop talents.
Home is another intimate and sentimental piece from Juwan who delivers his unwavering take on the world as it changes around him. He challenges the listener to keep the most important things close to heart and close to home.
From Brisbane to the North Shore, Juwan delivers an unfiltered outlook on the world around him, Juwan is one to keep your eyes locked into. Following a busy 2020 where Juwan released 2 singles and featured on countless projects with the likes of Brutha Ra, Lion Rezz & Sam V – he returns with the introspective & reflective single titled Home.
Produced by frequent collaborator Facade and featuring the 1010’s very own Sam V. The Home video was funded by NZ On Air Music and directed and edited by Zaza Films. This video showcases Juwan at a support group as he navigates the unstable frameworks and struggles that surround him. This video features a host of NZ music and social media talent including Sonny Jim, The WesternGuide & CreationKit.
