HOUSE OF SHEM ‘Anything You Ask For’

House Of Shem, known for their distinctive reggae sound and harmonies, are proud to release their latest new single Anything You Ask For.

The Perkins’ family band consisting of brothers Te Omeka and Isaiah and their father Carl, formerly of the beloved Kiwi icons HERBS, formed House Of Shem in 2005 to make official a lifetime of making music together.

Anything You Ask For is the first musical offering from their upcoming album, due for release later in 2017 which will be their first since 2013’s Harmony. Creating a distinctively Aotearoa flavoured brand of reggae, House Of Shem blend together both traditional and contemporary styles in their sound, beautifully finished off by the stunning vocals of the three men.

Carl Perkins, A Husband, Father to 5 sons, Grand Father, Great Grandfather and a legend of New Zealand music. Carl started his international career with Reggae icons “HERBS” as a Musician & Song writer and now currently the driving force behind World renowned Reggae band “HOUSE OF SHEM”.

3 days before his 58th birthday on 15 February 2017 Carl was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. One week later following an MRI & CT scan it was confirmed by the consultant that the cancer had advanced and was non-treatable with months to live. Despite this prognosis Carl will not give up and remains positive.
