This week’s Turn It Up Local Tune Of The Week is a fresh new one from HIGH HØØPS.

Auckland’s HIGH HØØPS (Jordan Arts) has been hiding in the clouds, getting things just right and now it’s time to welcoming you into the dreamy musical landscape he’s been crafting with Ultramood.

“I’d been doing a whole lot thinking, and not a lot of feeling. I had moved my studio setup outside for a change of scenery, the interior faded to gloom and stillness, problems and expectations from yesteryear. The sun was the highest and brightest it had been for some time. Glancing up the sky, the elements washing over. Feeling a change. A wave. Graduating to slow motion pop and lock, light blue everything, lost in it. Relaxed, and released. I’ve found you, Ultramood.”

As one fifth of The Leisure Collective Jordan has been rollin’ steady on completing tracks for his solo project with this being the first release in well over a year. Welcome back HØØPS.
