This week’s local eyes video is the latest singles from HIGH HØØPS ‘Madly’, which is taken from his debut album ‘Season on Planet Earth’ due out this Friday (September 21st)
While ‘Madly’ has a head over heels romance vibe, it goes much deeper in the funk and disco influenced track. When speaking on the track the Leisure member said…
‘I’d been drip feeding music as HIGH HØØPS for a while but never really revealed an incredible amount of personality – I would always let the music do that. But for ‘Madly’ I wanted to make something that felt like you were riding with me for the night, you’re welcome in my zone, get to know me type thing.’
Like all previous singles, Royal Oak’s favourite son writes, produces and performs ‘Madly’ but this one goes a step further. Director is added to his CV as he ventured out into Royal Oak one night with just a tripod and camera in hand to film his latest music video.
