‘Can I Get Love?’ is the latest late night creation from multi-instrumentalist HIGH HØØPS. The new track is a hot stepping slam situated between big room r&b and west coast pop n lock funk – out now via A Label Called Success.
Emotionally penned as an intimate note to a significant other and the propositioning questions of a future together. “In short, ‘Can I Get Love?’ is me trying to converse my feelings through song,” HØØPS explains. “A confrontation of emotions can be paralysing at times, writing about them and putting them into a song can illustrate and communicate an extra layer of emotion and release.”
HIGH HØØPS is the sunset escape project of left handed Aquarian Jordan Arts (also in five-piece Auckland music collective Leisure) who earlier in the year shared the first taste from the upcoming HIGH HØØPS album project, the electronic-soul pearl ‘Body’ and accompanying sunshine-laden video.
