GZA The Genius of Wu-Tang Clan is returning to New Zealand for two shows in November. The ‘spiritual head’ of the clan, GZA aka The Genius is renowned as one of the world’s top hip-hop lyricists, being armed with one of the largest vocabularies in the business which he commands with a silky smooth flow. Along his work with Wu-Tang, the Brooklyn native has carved out a hugely successful solo career that has spawned five studio albums including his widely acclaimed 1995 offering Liquid Swords. Over the years, Liquid Swords has been recognition with a number of famous publishers proclaiming it as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time.
The upcoming tour is GZA’s first solo appearance on these shores since 2011, here are the details…
