ESTÈRE ‘Tokoloshe’ (feat. RAIZA BIZA)

This week’s local eyes video is the ESTÈRE produced ‘Tokoloshe’ featuring NZ/ Rwandan MC RAIZA BIZA which is also, our Turn It Up: the local tune of the week. ‘Tokoloshe’ takes on the myth of a mischievous evil spirit or dwarf-like water sprite, whose origins lie in Zulu mythology.
Creating the ‘Tokoloshe’ video was a true exercise in long-distance collaboration, with parts of it shot in both London and Auckland, and brought together with the editing skills of talented director Connor Pritchard.
