DIAZ GRIMM ‘Sunset Hour’
Written by Admin on June 8, 2015
Entirely self-funded and self-released, the debut album Osiris is the culmination of a year’s worth of work for local artist Diaz Grimm. Named after the Egyptian god of life, death, and rebirth, Diaz describes the album as being “the soundtrack for a movie that doesn’t exist yet.”
Being raised with hiphop but falling in love with electronic music, Diaz is bringing a fresh new sound to the table in 2015. Heavily influenced by creatives such as Kanye, James Blake, Steve Jobs, James Cameron, Diaz plans on creating a movement worthy of the history books.
‘Sunset Hour‘ stands out as something a little different from the rest of the album, letting some of the golden light shine through. The track is produced by Key To The City, who also takes shares most of the album’s production credits.
A behind-the-scenes look at Diaz in the Red Bill Studios can be seen in the video below, documenting part of journey of recording Osiris.
