The Best of Conscious Roots is a 30-song double disc which offers two fresh and contrasting listening experiences which speak of who we are. Eighteen of the songs have been drawn from the first five volumes and the other twelve are new to the series.

Disc one is a poignant and contemplative set of reflections on people and society. Disc two provides contrasting insights on life which are more optimistic in tone and tempo.

In keeping with the philosophy of the series, there is a mix of well known and emerging artists and most of the recordings are in a full band live take style.
