CARAMEL SMOOTH HEAVEN ‘The Shallows’

We first stumbled across Caramel Smooth Heaven a couple of years back with the ‘Homeland’ release, a full length collection of downtempo instrumentals. Since then, this Christchurch-based producer has been expanding and developing this style even further with a fast growing discography.
Released in early August, Caramel Smooth Heaven‘s 5th release ‘The Shallows’ has a darker, more introspective tone, as the 22 tracks shift between minimal soundscapes, house, and percussive Burial-esque rhythms.
We’ve wanted to showcase this artist for a while now, and have decided to feature the title track from the album. Worth checking out the Azure remix which is included as a bonus track with the album.
