BAYNK ‘Settle’ feat. Sinéad Harnett

This week’s Local eyes video is from New Zealand producer BAYNK. For this track and video he has gone across the globe and collaborated with UK songstress Sinead Harnett for ‘Settle’.

While he grew up in Christchurch, BAYNK made the big move to LA to pursue his goals and coming from small-town New Zealand his built-in work ethic is only a bonus on top of his tasteful hit-making. ‘Settle’ was written the day BAYNK and Sinead met, speaking on their first meeting BAYNK described it as ‘like seeing a friend I hadn’t seen in 10 years. Catching up about what we’d missed over the years’ while Harnett felt the same adding it was ‘like family’. Their effortless chemistry is on full display on the track as BAYNK’s dreamy soundscape plays behind the vulnerability of Harnett.

BAYNK’s 2018 has a been a strong one with his debut US tour selling out dates in New York and L.A, the kiwi is going global and ‘Settle’ is another piece to his puzzle. With an expected EP around the corner that will include ‘Settle’, BAYNK isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
