Two years after the release of their critically-acclaimed debut album, Christchurch based Basscamp Soundsystem are back with a follow-up that pushes their multi-dimensional soundscape even further into the stratosphere. With a rich, global mix of reggae, hip-hop, and Pacific Soul, After The Rain is a bold reflection of how far the collective has come since their inception in2005.
With co-production by Paul Bimler (a.k.a Confucius) and DJ Stickyfingaz, the album also features collaborations with longtime Basscamp members Switch, KP and Matiu Te Huki, along with vocal contributions from MCs JDubs and Aeries, ragga Chanter and Zareb, and songstress Shia.
