Singer/songwriter Valere came into Base HQ last week for a chat about her new album ‘colours’ and performed her track ‘like that‘.
Like That was inspired by the feeling of love’s longing, confusion, wondering, and nods to the sounds of pioneering female artists of the late 90’s and early millennium, Aaliyah, Ashante and Mya, injected with a fresh Valere twist.
She also recently released her luscious debut 13 track original album Colours, full of delightfully fresh and funky tracks, each one flowing harmoniously with warmth and honesty.
