BASE FM YOUTH MENTORING – OTARA’s NEXT
As part of the Base Youth Mentoring Programme, we went out to Otara and teamed up with Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate and found these 3 very talented young ladies Eve, Rose & Cypress.
We had a series of workshops here at Base HQ including on-air broadcasting, DJing and of course – songwriting & recording. Within a couple of hours these girls wrote and even freestyled their very own 1st original track.
Straight from the heart and to a sick beat by Bass685, who is Poetik’s DJ and label partner of ‘For the Ville’ (also holding down Base Drive, Mondays 4-6pm).
