ADI DICK ‘The Message’

Adi Dick is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, beat maker, producer and DJ and has been involved in many different musical projects. In 2003 he released an EP as part of the trio Stylus 77; joined the collective Fly My Pretties in 2005; that same year he attended the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in Seattle; released his debut solo album Our Place (Loop) in 2007; joined Fat Freddy’s Drop for a European tour in 2008; invited to Berlin for Red Bull Music Academy “Class Of Their Own” project (alongside Om’mas Keith, Mark Pritchard, Black Spade, The Mizell Brothers, Julien Dyne, Rio Hemopo); worked & toured with Andreya Triana (Bonobo, Flying Lotus); released the Spacedust EP in 2012; and has kept his soundcloud fresh with beats & remixes, including Erykah Badu “On and On” remix which has 50,000+ plays on Soundcloud and receive support from respected blog bamalovesoul.

It’s been six years since Adi’s debut album “Our Place” was released and this new 5 track EP will not disappoint those who remember his soulful vocals layered over well crafted beats and warm pacific vibes.

Layers is a collection of stories about my life. From the many hours lost in my youth playing video games to exploring a surreal city like Amsterdam, it can often be a blurred line between reality and fantasy. The Message is a mysterious tale of one night in the magical city of Amsterdam: “Tinted window memories of cotton colored melodies. The sugar rush, the smell of trees, just you and me.
