FRIDAY DRIVE

Friday 4pm – 6pm with LEWIS TENNANT
Now charged with officially kick starting the weekend (like Daylight Saving it keeps getting longer due to popular demand), join Lewis Tennant for Friday Drive. Nobody will notice the Chilly Bin under your desk.
Originally from Wellington, Lewis Tennant has been chipping away at this DJ and radio thing since 1994. DJ highlights have included attending the Red Bull Music Academy in 2000, supporting a diverse range of artists from Carl Craig to The Nextmen, and promoting and playing club nights in Dublin, London, Melbourne (where he lived for six years following the Academy), Sydney, and throughout Aotearoa.
With an inherent belief in the power of quality radio, and a natural propensity for broadcasting, Lewis was Radio Active 89FM’s first ever paid host (presenting breakfast in 1997), George FMs first ever breakfast host (alas unpaid and thus short lived), as well as one of the first hosts of Active’s ‘Future Funk’ show (New Zealand’s first ever Jungle / D&B radio show)
