Come join us at SUNDAISE Festival, March 6th-8th, tucked away in the hidden native bush Valley of Dickey Flat, just before the town of Waihi. SUNDAISE Festival is for Everybody!

The Main Stage features musical performances from: Trinity Roots, Opiuo, Chocolate Strings, Tali, Soul Revolution, Knights of the Dub Table, Sorceress, Dylan C, Bella Shanti, Oakley Grenell, The Nomad and more, with emerging local acts spread out across the 4 unique zones. For a more intimate setting, check out he bohemian flair of ‘The Rogue Stage’, all the way from Rotorua. Here you’ll be treated to acoustic sets of live performances and spoken word, surrounded by the native forest.

The Solar Stage is fully powered by the sun, and hosts a diverse mix of bands, DJs, yoga and workshops (It’s also the perfect chill zone). For those who don’t want to stop, race off ‘The Red Lounge’ and party until dawn with some of NZ’s best DJ’s and Producers (such as R.I.A and Isaac Aesili) with vivid projections and light shows for you night owls.

Have a break from the crowd by attending any the free Workshops running through the day, taking a dip in the fresh water river or join your young’uns in the exciting Kids Zone with dramatised story-telling, puppetry, workshops and face painting.Located down stream from the site of the final Nambassa Festival in 1981, the Valley has a rich history of culture. There are many parallels between SUNDAISE and the iconic Nambassa events and with each SUNDAISE festival we add another layer.

SUNDAISE hails back to a traditional Kiwi feel, a festival without the boundaries of commercial interest. No need for bars with expensive drinks as its hosted on private land and the event is glass free, BYO with lots of delicious helathy food stalls.

Another aspect of SUNDAISE is our commitment to sustainability  and setting new standards in festival waste. The last festival saw only 1 wheelie bin full of landfill with 1250 people on site and this year we aim to decrease the amount of waste even further.

SUNDAISE has acres of beautiful free camping and is framed by the Waitawheta River. The surrounding area is D.O.C land and there are many great short walks tunnels and water holes for you to explore.
