WAYVEE ‘Floating’

Wayvee is an Auckland-based producer who has been making waves the last 18+months. Reaching an international audience via Darker Than Wax label out of Singapore and Eighth Supply out of the UK, Wayvee’s beats also has a growing catalogue of remixes and productions on his soundcloud page.
Base FM fist featured Wayvee ‘Black Magic‘ as tune of the week in October 2013… producer Ben Jamin” heard this tune on Base and brought it to the attention of his Third3ye bandmates, who then recorded the lyrical version ‘Levitate’ on the On3ness album. Yep.
Fast forward to January 2015 and Wayvee has self-released ‘Recovery EP’ via his bandcamp page. ‘Floating’ is a slightly different tempo from what we’re used to hearing from this producer yet displays his control of space & bass nicely.
