Tickets are on sale now for The Pacific Music Awards 2021!
This years awards have unfortunately been postponed due to Auckland current alert level with the new date being Decemeber 11th. Held at the Vodafone Events Centre, save the date and get yours and your friends tickets from HERE.
It is also nearing the last days to vote for the coveted SunPix People’s Choice Award, for Best Pacific Artist. The artists confirmed as 2021 finalists are all up for this award, with the winner solely determined by public vote. Visit www.pacificmusicawards.
Last year the Pacific Music Awards were proudly produced as an online presentation, on 3 October, honouring our amazing 2020 finalists, award recipients and Pacific music community. The late awards presentation in 2020, has impacted the 2021 timeline, but the Trust are excited about working on the 2021 ceremony, with plans to return to a live event.
For the third year, we will be proudly presenting Base FM NZ & Island Base Samoa Best Pacific Hip Hop Artist award! Last year the Base FM crew were behind the scenes of the online presentation and were able to catch up with a handful of the nominees.
Here at Base we are very much looking forward to the celebration of Pacific music and to sharing the 2021 Pacific Music Awards with you, so please save the date of Wednesday 1 September!
