Call upon water, remind us of your softness in acceptance and appreciation of this misunderstood rage. Listen, and let ur sacred waters flow.

“I am Kid from the first place in the world to see the sun rise, Gisborne(Turanganui-a-Kiwa).The only music I was really around when I was kid was Kapa Haka and growing up as a Maori Boy that lived in New Zealand(Aotearoa) It was the go too even if you didn’t want too ,and I was definitely one to not want too. I sorta got into rapping when watch the movie about Biggie Smalls but who really inspired me to Rap and make music HANDS DOWN Sheff G . I knew all of THE UNLUCCY LUCCY KID album and rap he’s songs all the time. Trying to master he’s flow ,creativity. Me knowing that he was born on the same day as me and where my life is going right now THATS GOTTA COUNT FOR SOMETHING!”
Featured Artist: Sam V, bKIDD
Track: ‘Cruisin’’
‘Cruisin’‘ by Sam V and bKIDD with the innovative, award winning production of EDY blends the seductive lyricism and charismatic delivery of Papatoetoe’s bKIDD, with the vocal chops and melismatic crooning of the Auckland’s SAM V. The track has been heralded as a soulful callback to 90’s R&B/Hip hop collabs with the modern subtleties in lyricism and melody. A fresh take on the classic feel.
The music video directed by the amazing Conor Pritchard, it features up and coming artists Chris Bates, Jesse Realm, Siegs, Ron, Crystal Chen, BrokeBoiAce, Lincoln Tua, Aidan Fine, The WesternGuide & JARNA. Check it out:
