This week’s Local Eyes video is the brand new video from Christchurch musician Marley Sola, ‘Lift Your Head High’.
Marley started his musical career in 2013 as a member of X-Factor finalists Moorhouse. He’s spent the last few years establishing himself as a solo artist, embracing independence and finding his own sound.
Shot in Christchurch, it features Marley’s friends and family along the way. “I really wanted to showcase my life; my family, my school, my church, my local hangouts and hobbies,” Marley says.
‘Lift Your Head High’ is about Marley’s personal journey: “The things that have happened in my life, the things that I have learnt so far and that I am still learning.
