Event: Charity Silent Auction & Cocktail Evening

Charity Silent Auction & Cocktail Evening at Carmen Jones will be raising money for The Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation who feel passionately about saving the severely abused dogs from the horrific dog meat trade in Asia.
The event will be Hosted at Carmen Jones Eatery and Lounge Bar on Saturday 1st September. As part of the ticket price, you will receive a complimentary drink on arrival, the chance to bid in our Silent Auction (take home a bargain ) and enjoy authentic Mediterranean finger food throughout the evening.
Some great items will be up for auction on the night so you can also play a part in making a difference for these innocent animals by simply placing a bid.
Items up for auction include:
A Hauraki Gulf Day Cruise on his boat for you and 5 friends with 2 bottles of French Champagne as well. Valued $1000.
A $500 voucher for gorgeous clothing by David Pond from the David Pond and Toby collection Summer 2018/19.
A family pass up for Auckland Jet Boat Tours.

The Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation is a non-profit organization based in LA. Their main focus has been on rescuing dogs from the Asian Dog Meat Trade. They rescue animals from the slaughterhouses and torture chambers where the use of cruel and barbaric methods are practised to kill dogs in order for their meat to taste better.
Marc Ching is the Founder and CEO of the AHWF. By raising awareness, Ching and the AHWF aim to expose the world to the unimaginable anguish and suffering that these dogs endure in order to enact change and force the government to create laws to protect these precious animals from this unfounded, barbaric and cruel tradition.
Cost: $45.00 pp. Includes complimentary drink on arrival, the chance to bid in our Silent Auction and Mediterranean finger food throughout the evening.
