EVENT : SENTIENT – POP UP SHOW by Anna Leyland

Sentient is a pop-up show by Ann Leyland. This exhibition will be running as part of Auckland Art Week at Ponsonby Central from Monday 9th October til 15th October.

“My paintings represent a moment in time in my journey as an artist; an expression of a thought/emotion/conversation and offer an insight into my personal perception about life. This is depicted through the pattern itself and/or in the Title. I choose to see the beauty in everything around me; specifically, the beautiful mix of cultures we have in Aotearoa and all the different life experiences, talent, and inspiration that this brings to one’s existence… and I incorporate this into all of my works. I also like to play on the visual aesthetic and some works may even confuse your senses! Life is all about perception.. what you see is yours and unique to you alone…”

There will be a huge range of her work including Limited Edition Prints and Original Paintings, all different sizes and from different series; from my latest works to some of my earliest!
