Israel Starr credits his talent to his upbringing in the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Son of Aotearoa Legend ‘The Mighty Asterix’, Israel Starr was surrounded by all things reggae and base culture, and has become an important part of Aotearoa’s ever-growing Reggae, Dub, EDM and Hip-Hop scenes.

Unity Pacific is an Auckland-based group led by Niuean New Zealander Tigilau Ness, the father of Che Fu. “Blackbirder Dread” is the 3rd studio album by Unity Pacific and won Best Aotearoa Roots Album at the 2016 Vodafone NZ Music Awards.
