ELECTRIC WIRE HUSTLE ‘Go Slow’
Written by Admin on September 5, 2016
Electric Wire Hustle have just released ‘Go Slow‘, a taste of upcoming album The 11th Sky.
A track which walks into the genre-fog amongst drum machines, synthesizers and Mara TK‘s distinctive voice, the track sets the scene for the sound of The 11th Sky – surreal storytelling and a David Lynch meets Motown vibe.
“‘Go Slow‘ is born of a trip to New York where Mara got a chance to sit in on a studio session with Just Blaze and Young Guru, who treated him to a taste of their recently built MIDI collection. That was enough to amp him up and send him home on an inspiration high. What came of it is a stripped down track that feels full and lush. ‘Go Slow‘ starts with what appears to be synth strings, but they quickly fade out and we are left with clean, crisp drums, accentuated by one or two ambient notes, but mainly by Mara’s light, layered vocals.” – via www.massappeal.com
