Recorded at Auckland’s Red Bull Studios, Yoko-Zuna‘s second EP Luminols was released at the end of May through Loop. The 5-track EP shows a varied sound from Yoko-Zuna, and a band which have become incredibly comfortable in their own skin. Ranging from the pulsating electronic sounds of ‘Lightning Sabres’ to the brooding slow-burn of ‘Orchard St’, Yoko-Zuna is a band taking their sound to the next level. Each of the 5 track showcase different featured vocalist, with HEAVY & LarzRanda adding their unique hiphop flow over ‘Yes’ – the Base FM local tune of the week.
