Phoenix Fest returns in 2015 to finish off the summer festival season in style.

It all began in 2007 when the folks from Phoenix Organic Drinks slipped quietly into an inner city Auckland park with a few thousand friends and a couple of bands by the name of Sola Rosa and Rhombus. Now an anticipated event in the Kingsland community, Phoenix Fest is back with a solid line up.

Phoenix Fest 2015 | 12pm-6pm, Saturday 21st March

Nixon Park, Kingsland | Free Entry!

Featuring: Tahuna Breaks, Midnight Gallery, Hipstamatics, Night Gaunts & DJ Cian.

Headliners, Tahuna Breaks really typify the New Zealand summer sound, encompassing funk, disco, soul, live electronics and roots, so we are excited to bring the group’s energetic, raw and large live act to our stage.

Joining them on the day will be our wildcard act Night Gaunts who won our band search competition, blowing us away with their fantastically positive energy and sound. We know you’re going to love them just as we do!

We’ve also got the Midnight Gallery bringing their salute to the 90s Hip Hop and R&B in their own distinct homegrown style and the Soul Powered Funk of the Hipstamatics BIG band experience to kick the day off.

Cian will fill the gaps with some choice cuts from his record box and it’ll all be tied together by our MC – Gracie Taylor from George FM.

There’ll be markets plus heaps for the kids including Pirate Olympics hosted by Captain Festus McBoyle and his motley crew!

So ride a bike, take a bus or walk to Phoenix Fest at Nixon Park in Kingsland on Saturday March 21 and join us for a free celebration of an urban lifestyle, thanks to Phoenix Organic Drinks and the Kingsland Karnival.

Love organic. Love your local.

Love New Zealand Music.

See you at Phoenix Fest 2015!

Hi I own a trendy retro architect designed food caravan. We sell organic coffee and some good wholesome food. I’m wondering would there be any spare food vendor sites available ( maybe a cancellation) at the Phoenix Fest . I have photos and a menu I can email you if required. Note: We donate to a third world charity 20% of sales.
    Kind regards Darren
