AVERAGE RAP BAND ‘Fly Casual’

A few weeks ago Tom Scott and Lui T’s Average Rap Band surprised us all with a debut album that is the result of their post “sci-fi-psych-rap existential crisis” desire to create “a song you could listen to without 7 tramadols”. The album is full of feel good, happy songs without being “super posi-vibes ‘you can do it’ music”. For our TURN IT UP Local Tune Of The Week, we settled on ‘Fly Casual’ with it’s “ugly tape hiss shit“, synths, sighing vocals and a plea for the listener or maybe the singer to “chill out bruv it’s ok”.
